Shofna was born and raised in East London, and am fully aware of the cultural needs within the community.

She have been involved in my local community in many ways over the years as being a parent governor, helping a close circle of members in the community with language difficulties, and encouraging them in taking part in activities like gardening, textiles design & fashion, beauty skincare and health and fitness. These activities have helped many women to developed self-esteem and confidence.

She thoroughly enjoy helping others and it gives me a great sense of achievement and fulfilment when I know my efforts have had a positive impact on others.

She is interested in being a part of the Chameli Women’s Organisation as I believe through the organisation I can provide further valuable help and support to those women in need and are victims of Domestic Violence.
